BLACK AMERICANS FOR LIFE

UNITING THE BLACK COMMUNITY FOR LIFE

Many people have a general idea of what Black Americans for Life is. But what often comes as a surprise is the number of different problems BAL deals with, and many diffrent solutions we have. Of course, almost everyone knows that Pro-life people work to protect the unborn wherever and whenever we can. But even many of our friends, who are otherwise well-informed, are amazed to find out just what does happen to a growing unborn baby in abortion. It's a real shock to learn that the 1973 United States Supreme Court decision legalized abortion throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy!

Sure, Explaining what can happen to an unborn child is part of what BAL is all about. But the key word is "explaining." Because, when Black Americans understand what the problem is, they respond! Hundreds who are part of Black Americans for Lifehave responded as they realized what a big problem this country has on its hands. We know that thousands more will answer the challenge as they become better informed.

Black Americans for Life has made tremedous strides just because of people like you. Perhaps the single, most important fact we have to continue to impress on our representatives is this: The right-to-life organization known as Black Americans for Life is made up of hundreds of people from coast to coast. You, one individual member, are the life of BAL. The life and death issues still to be decided require that even greater numbers of concerned individuals join us. If you walk away from being a member, the entire movement is weakened.
